Kastenmeier, Robert
Description
This folder is composed primarily of correspondence between Robert Kastenmeier and his constituents. Many are from people requesting that federal protection be provided to civil rights workers in the South. Others relate concerns that Mississippi's government was trying to suppress news coverage of the civil rights movement. The rest are from individuals informing the Congressman of their intention to head south and aid in voter registration.
