Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.On verso, the letter is addressed to "S. May Jr."Robert Folger Wallcut writes to Samuel May stating that he has sent "the resolves & Dr. Hutton's Letter to the Editors of the Chr[istian] Register yesterday, in season for this week's paper." He also tells May that he has not received a response from A.P. Peabody yet, suggesting "he means to do something more than to say he can do nothing."
