Description

Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Robert Folger Wallcut writes to Samuel May directing him to the last issue of the Liberator, which "will inform you that Mr. Garrison expects to be at Georgetown." Wallcut discusses Garrison's improving health but says that "if he should feel no better tomorrow, he should not think it prudent to go." Wallcut also reports that Wendell Phillips received May's letter but "Garrison is unwilling to ask him to go." In the postscript, he tells May he will deliver "a paper of this week & a placard to Mr. Nelson" the following day.
