Description

Russell Howard Davis (1897-1976) was an educator, author, and civic leader. In 1962 he became principal of the new Harry E. Davis Junior High School named for his brother. He is the author of Black Americans in Cleveland from George Peake to Carl B. Stokes, 1796-1969; and Memorable Negroes in Cleveland's past.
