Description

Annette G. Butler (ca 1944- ) spent much of her legal career serving as an assistant U.S. Attorney for Civil Trials and Appeals with the U.S. Attorney’s Office. She’s also served as an attorney in the private sector, as well as elsewhere in the public sector. She was appointed by Ohio Governor John Kasich to be a judge on the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas in 2011, and served until losing the election in November 2012. Butler attended Case Western Reserve University as an undergrad, and attained her J.D. from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Among her other civic accomplishments, she was the first female president of the City Club of Cleveland.
