Daybook containing transactions from November 4, 1785, to May 28, 1786. Includes Seabury Brewster's order of molasses for London, and African American man; Andrew Perkins' payments for a bridge subscription, parish rates, and "mouse pieces"; Abell Brewster's credit by stone lime and white washing, and making an oven for Andrew Perkins; trade of flaxseed for rum by Prince, and payment to Prince for cutting wood at the Perkins store; charges to Barzilla Davison to the balance of sales of goods shipped by Captain Alpheus Davison from the Carolinas; and Andrew Perkins' payments to David Moore for culling salt beef, for salt petre, and to a African American man named Peter to "bring chairs."
