We, the undersigned, having listened with interest to an able Appeal to the people of England to throw their influence against slavery and thus shorten the war which slavery has produced, by Edward Y. Robbins, and being desirous that others should hear it, and that measures may be taken to put the Appeal before the English people, thou and thy friends, who are interested in the promotion of the permanent peace of our beloved country, and in the cause of the slave, are particularly invited to attend a Meeting to be held in the basement room of the Meeting House in 20th St., at 8 o'clock, on 2d day evening, 11 mo. 2d, 1863
