Description

Looking south down Sixth Street from O’Fallon Street towards Biddle Street. Numerous black men are lined up along the building at 1229 North Sixth Street, which was the location of the Standard Waste Products Co. "1229 Office" is painted on the front brick wall. The edges of 1215 North Sixth Street, which was the location of the Old St. Patrick’s Day Nursery1207 North Sixth Street, which was the rectory for St. Patrick’s Catholic Churchand 1203 North Sixth Street (corner of North Sixth Street and Biddle), which was the location of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church are just visible in the background.
