The program features audio excerpts of Andrew Young; Coretta Scott King; Hosea Williams; Catholic Monsignor Noel Burtenshaw; Tom Teepen of the Atlanta Constitution; Reverend Ralph David Abernathy, and Dr. Joseph Lowery. The second segment, which begins at 18:27, is a feature about President Ronald Reagan's Strategic Defense Initiative. The program includes audio excerpts of Georgia Tech professor Dr. Robert Cassanova; science fiction author Brian Aldiss, and protesters on Georgia Tech's campus against the initiative. The series, which aired from 1980 to 1987, was conceived, produced, and reported by journalist Boyd Lewis.
