Holograph, signed.In this letter, William Lloyd Garrison introduces Mrs. Eliza Frances Jackson Meriam Eddy to Elizabeth Pease. He commends Mrs. Eddy's anti-slavery activities and Mr. Eddy's liberal contributions to the American Anti-Slavery Society. Garrison believes the cause of emancipation is "advancing mightily, and we are rejoicing in hope." Garrison's health has improved through the water cure. Henry C.
