Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Henry Clarke Wright writes to Maria Weston Chapman in regards to Ann Allen asking him about Maria and the chance of Joshua Leavitt's return to Garrisonian doctrines. He writes, "In Scotland the lines are drawn." He praises Elizabeth Pease Nichol. J.J. Gurney is vindictively trying to hurt the antislavery cause. His letters to Amelia Opie "are most false and hypocritical." He discusses Irish affairs. Joseph Sturge has gone to see Daniel O'Connell. He wishes that George Thompson had gone to Boston instead of Bombay. He inquires about Abby Kelley {Foster]. He compares the people of England and New England.
