Description

Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Oliver Johnson encloses a note clarifying an error printed in a recent issue of the Liberator. He requests that Garrison publish the note or correct the error in whatever manner he deems best suited. Johnson offers his regrets that Garrison is stricken with a throat illness, and cautions him to take care, recalling the fate of Theodore Parker. Johnson suggests that if only Garrison would "let God have his way in covering your chin and throat", he would find relief, and proclaims that his own health issues similar to those plaguing Garrison were alleviated by Johnson's having grown a beard.
