Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.John Weiss writes to William Lloyd Garrison asking about a letter from Theodore Parker. Weiss says that he found in Parker's pocket-diary evidence for a letter begun on September 20, 1859 that was sent to Garrison and asks, "Perhaps you have received others from him; and being from him to you there's a double ground for supposing them to be valuable." He asks Garrison to see the letters and if he could publish them, telling him to send them to "Mrs. Parker's" if he agrees to the request.
