Description

Holograph, signed with initialsWilliam Lloyd Garrison abandoned going to New York because of the threat of a snowstorm. New York has no attraction for him whatsoever. He hopes to come to New York on Wednesday instead. Garrison writes: "I am glad that Lucy and you are to have an opportunity to hear Dickens read; but my own curiosity has not been in the least roused in that direction."
