Holograph, signed "your loving Father."The letterhead on this manuscript is: American Social Science Association, 13 Pemberton Square, BostonWilliam Lloyd Garrison came home from the meeting in Longwood, Pennsylvania, in the rain and fog. Mrs. J. M. M'Kim (and perhaps Mr. J. M. M'Kim) and Lloyd Garrison intend to visit Rockledge. William L. Garrison is sending a stereoscope and some views of Boston. It cost $1,200 to bring "the Cochituate water into the house." Francis Jackson Garrison searched for the paragraph about George Francis Train in issues of the Revolution but could not find it
