Pages 32 and 33 of Emily Ann Powell Warrington's annotated diary from 1846 to 1862. In these pages Emily discusses events that took place between October 11 and November 22 of 1857, including visitors, especially George Parker (an admirer who in May of 1862 would die in the Civil War), a minstrel show at the town hall, and other goings-on.
