Federal City College

Description

College seal of the Federal City College (FCC). Federal City College was formed in 1968 as a college of liberal arts and sciences to provide affordable education to any DC resident who graduated from high school or had a GED. FCC was the first urban land-grant college in the United States. By 1973, FCC was organized into 5 schools, containing 35 academic departments, with a faculty of over 500, teaching more than 1800 undergraduate students.
