Description

In this series of WSB-TV newsfilm clips from sometime in 1964, Senator Richard Russell critiques the federal government plan to enforce racial integration in the Southern states and proposes his own plan. He says each section of the country should be given the opportunity to show good faith regarding racial integration. This will aid President's Lyndon Johnson's war on poverty.
