Holograph, signed.Mrs. Mary Merrick Brooks writes that the Concord fair has to be postponed until the third week in July on account of temperance celebrations in adjoining towns. The Concord people will gratefully accept the assistance of Miss Anne W. Weston, who Mary M. Brooks hopes will stay with her. Mary M. Brooks desires Maria Weston Chapman's advice about asking the Hutchinsons to give a concert in the evening before the fair and occasional songs the next day. Mary M. Brooks hopes to stir up the Irish to come to the fair.At the top of page one, there is a brief note by Maria Weston Chapman.
