Performers on stage in gold and silver lamé

View
@ University of Missouri

Description

Six performers, possibly Stevens models, on stage dressed as showgirls and guys, hold their arms out to their sides. One is mostly out of the left side of the photograph. One is completely obscured, except for his feet, behind the female performer. The African American female performer in front wears a gold lamé cape with white fur edging and white character shoes. Behind her, two male performers wear white three-piece cutaway tuxedos, top hats, and shoes. Above and behind them on a staircase is a performer with a full-length American Indian feather headdress, a gold and silver lamé midriff top and a matching full-length pencil skirt. There is a stage setting implying a city skyline lit up at night. No datelikely 1970sDigitizing agency: University of Missouri--Kansas City. Library. Dr. Kenneth J.
