Description

Holograph, signed. In this letter, Helen L. Thoreau writes: "My sister & myself intend going to the the Fair, & in compliance with your request in the Liberator I write to say that we shall be among the forlorn damsels without a home in the city, our friends being too far both from Faneuil Hall & Anti Slavery to entertain us on that occasion. We hope to contribute as many articles as usual this season & also something for the refreshment table."
