Description

Albumen print of Charlotte S. Poulton mounted on paper. Poulton is shown in but portrait and is turned one quarter to her right looking off frame. Her hair is smoothed down and pulled behind her head, and she may be wearing a dark colored snood or cloth, but the print is blurry and difficult to tell. She is wearing a dark colored bodice with a white lace collar and a pin at her center front neck. The print is cut into an oval and adhered to a paper backing.Handwritten along the bottom of the mount in graphite is the text "Charlotte S. Poulton".The photograph is housed in the album 2017.30. The album page has a triple-lined, gold border framing the print.
