Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript composed in black ink on white paper. Above the salutation the number "75" is written in pencil and in the head- fore corner, after the date, "'64" has been inserted in pencil. On the adjacent page, along the spine edge, "George Thompson, Aubutn, N.Y. April 24, 1864." is also written in pencil, vertically.George Thompson writes to William Lloyd Garrison so that he "may know all my plans", detailing his plans to lecture at Rochester, Syracuse, Philadelphia, and other cities in Pennsylvania during the coming two weeks. He also responds to Garrison's last letter about accommodations in Philadelphia "during the anniversary week" saying he had "previously promised myself to Mrs. Marienne, a very nice lady who made me both welcome & comfortable when I went to the reception" but that he "will do what you think best."
