Description
This folder consists of letters and self-published newsletters, apparently written by a black ex-teacher from Corinth, Robert U. Jones, about the condition and management of black schools under segregation, his difficulties in finding and keeping jobs thereafter, his efforts to have War on Poverty funds used "to the disadvantage of Negro citizens" by the local whites handling the funds, and his general dissatisfaction for the white and black establishments in Corinth.
