Description

Jacob tells Rowena that he is close to the enemy and informs her of his safety. He anticipates another attack in the coming week and also expresses the sentiment that the war will soon be over if his army is successful in taking Port Hudson and Vicksburg. jacob also received a letter from Silas Deyo and that he awaits another letter from Rowena.
