Description
Studio portrait of a woman who appears to be African-American with small white boys and girls. The boys wear suits. The girls wear white dresses and black stockings. One girl wears a necklace. All are looking at a book. A fur rug is on the floor. A painted studio backdrop depicts an interior with a fireplace, mirror, table and doors. Inscribed on back: "Uncle John." A similar photograph is inscribed "Aunt Lizzie." The names are probably those of the people the photographs were given to.
