Holograph, signed.Thomas Wentworth Higginson writes: "To speak at fairs appears to me the only real martyrdom of the 19th century--for who can be inspired among pincushions?" Higginson is coming to Weymouth on Oct 12 unless his trial occurs during the week or his wife's illness should require his attendance.
