United States Sports Academy & Mobile County Training School

Description

Hill and Mosley were the first two African-Americans to play in an integrated All-star game as professional baseball players. Prior to being drafted as professional baseball players, both Hill and Mosley were rejected from playing in the Babe Ruth Baseball League even though they had great performances. This rejection was most likely due to discrimination rather than their baseball skills.
