Description
Thomas Bryant is interviewed by a Smoky Mountain High School student as a part of Mountain People, Mountain Lives: A Student Led Oral History Project. Bryant talks about the challenges he faced growing up in Waynesville as an African American. He shares his experience volunteering for the military from 1966 to 1969 including his time in Vietnam. He also talks about working for Champion Paper Mill and shares his thoughts on religion.
