African Highlife Pharmacy Humphrey, Hubert H. (Hubert Horatio)

Description

Women's mini dress has "go-go" styled flared half-sleeves. Skirt is made of Humphrey-themed fabric while bodice is made of a cotton print featuring prominent black actors, athletes, and leaders, and was made by Sidafro, Incorporated. The Humphrey-themed fabric was one of several items retailed by Washington, D.C., political boutique The Pharmacy, staffed by Humphrey volunteers in support of his 1968 presidential campaign.
