View of John O. Braselton's country store and mill in Braselton, Georgia.Braselton, Georgia is located approximately forty miles northeast of Atlanta and lies in portions of Barrow, Gwinnett, Hall and Jackson counties. The town was first settled in 1884 when John O. Braselton opened a store there. The post office was established in 1916 and the town was incorporated August 12, 1916.
