Worthington Civic Ballet
Description
The 33rd annual production of the Worthington Civic Ballet and Youtheatre was "Alice through the Looking Glass" and "The Magic of Disney". Commentary about the enormous amount of planning and preparation required to present the full-staged production, featuring handmade costumes is included in this program. Worthington Civic Ballet Director, Barbara Burrows choreographed the production and designed over 350 costumes and scenery, based on the original Lewis Carroll drawings for the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Miss Burrows sewed the cosutmes by hand with assistance from Shane Carpenter (Children's ballet, jazz and tap instructor) and parents.
