Description

Photograph of unidentified Gates Elementary students sitting passively during a talk given inside their classroom. Most are sitting in rows of blue and maroon plastic chairs, but others are at tables, where pamphlets have been placed. The male speaker at the front of the room holds a drawing, but it has been turned away from the camera, and only the backside is visible. Female teachers can be seen sitting to the speaker's side near the series of windows that line the back wall. Accompanying information indicates photograph was taken during a book illustrator activity for the National Trends and Services program of the Links organization.1 photograph : negative, col. ; 35 mm.
