Original program for films shown the week of December 21, 1941 at the Strand Theatre in Ipswich, Massachusetts. This 
week is a special Christmas edition and the cover features an
 advertisement for the December 21 screening of Moonlight in Hawaii. This comedy starring Jane Frazee and Leon Errol tells the story of a man named Pete Fleming who becomes a tourist guide.The second page includes an advertisement for the December 22 and 23 screenings of Swamp Water. This crime drama stars Walter Brennan and tells the story of a hunter who discovers a fugitive and his daughter living in a Georgia swamp.The following page features an advertisement for the December 24 and 25 showings of Keep ‘em Flying. Bud Abbott and Lou Costello co-star in this comedy about a stunt pilot’s two goofball assistants.The final page of the program is dedicated to a double feature screening on December 27. The first film is Naval Academy, a drama starring Freddie Bartholomew and Jimmy Lydon. The Smiling Ghost, the second film, is a comedy starring Wayne Morris, Alexis Smith, and Brenda Marshall.Currently not on view
