Original program for films shown the week of December 19, 1937 at the Strand Theatre in Ipswich, Massachusetts. This is a special Christmas edition, and the cover features an advertisement for the December 31 screening of Manhattan Merry-Go-Round. This is a comedy about gangsters that take over a record company, and it stars Phil Regan, Leo Carrillo, and Ann Dvorak.The second page includes two film advertisements. Hell Divers is is drama about the rivalry of two Naval Aircrewmen. Clark Gable, Wallace Beery, and Conrad Nagel star in this film scheduled for a December 19 showing. The second advertisement is for the December 20 and 21 screenings of Rose-Marie. Jeanette MacDonald, Nelson Eddy, and Reginald Owen star in this romance about an opera singer searching for her fugitive brother.Page three also features two film advertisements. Blossoms on Broadway is scheduled for December 22. Edward Arnold, Shirley Ross, and John Trent star in this comedy about a wealthy woman kidnapped by a con man. The second advertisement is for the December 23 and 24 screenings of Stand-In. Humphrey Bogart, Leslie Howard, and Joan Blondell star in this film.The final page of the program includes an advertisement for the December 25 showing of Navy Blue and Gold.
