Holograph, signed.Emma Forbes Weston is a child of of about 11 years when she writes this letter. She has begun the study of French. She went to Melania Ammidon's wedding. She discusses an anti-slavery fair that is approaching. She describes some handbags sent by Mrs. Smith [perhaps Evelina A.S. Smith, who was the wife of Increase S. Smith]. She tells of the threatened burning of Richard Hildreth's book, Archy Moore.
