Lord will make a way somehow; The Lord will make a way somehow, down beneath the cross I bow.

Description

voice; guitars Fall, 1963 The Lord will make a way somehow, down beneath the cross I bow. Like a ship that's tossed and dreary, battered by an angry sea. Storm of life a raging, the fears fall on me. Oh, Lord what have I done, to make the race so hard to run. Then I said to my soul, take courage, Well, the Lord will make a way somehow. Down neath the cross I bow, he'll take away sorrow. Let him have your burden now. Oh, when the Lord cries down from heaven, Praise worn upon my brow, Oh please, please, leave me sorrow. My dad is too bad in trouble, I'm trying to do the best I can. While I tried to do the right thing, Daddy's gone and married again. It sure keeps me wanting to cry, Good fortune has passed me by. Then I said to my soul, don't worry. Well the Lord will make a way somehow. Down neath the cross I bow, he'll take away sorrow. Let him have your burden now. Oh, when the Lord cries down from heaven, Praise worn upon my brow, Oh please, please, leave me sorrow.
