Description

In the letter W. H. M. criticizes Sullivan's suggestion to close Alabama State College, as well as his efforts against civil rights and integration. The writer reminds him of the successful bus integration and warns that "you and your White Citizens Council might as well set your people up for what's coming, you are going to take these things whether you like them or not...The negro has seen the light you can't push this younger Generation around like you have been doing in past years they are fighting back...violence wont [sic] get you nothing because some of you might be included." The postmark on the envelope is dated March 13, 1960, from Pomona, California.
