Holograph, signed.Joseph Lupton transmits a contribution from the Leeds and Halifax friends. Mary Carpenter wants to know if something can be done for the family of John Brown. Frederick Douglass has been in the neighborhood, but Joseph Lupton has not seen him. Joseph Lupton thinks he should go to Frederick Douglass's meeting. Joseph Lupton's cousins, Charlotte and Harriet Lupton, live near Wickstead.
