Description
This report was presented by Comptroller Samuel Pickens to the legislature. In it, he documents the financial condition of the state, listing receipts and disbursements to and from the state treasury, as well as county taxes assess and collected. Among the expenses is $10.00 paid to "Attornies for prosecuting negro slaves &c." [Original spelling retained.]
