Description

A label attached to the back reads: "Graham's Rib Station in the 1930's, on Springfield's north side." From Dr. Lederer's exhibit text: James and Zelma Graham's barbecue restaurant, a local landmark before it was torn down in the original widening of Chestnut in Springfield, Missouri. The Graham family then built a new building on the remainder of the lot. The restaurant was on the site of the first St. John's Hospital and across the street from the site of the home of Sempronius 'Pony' Boyd.
