Slack Collection, Marietta College Library, Ohio.William Lloyd Garrison accepts Joseph Ricketson's invitation to lecture at the New Bedford Lyceum. Henry Clarke Wright will attend the meetings today and tomorrow in New Bedford.Includes a letter by Francis Jackson Garrison to Mr. Ford, April 10, 1901, regarding the provenance of William Lloyd Garrison's letter. Francis Jackson Garrison writes: "I send copies of three of my father's letters of which the originals are in the hands of Mr. Goodspeed, the bookseller at 5 Park St. who has kindly allowed me to make copies of them. They came to him from a nephew of Joseph Ricketson, to whom they were addressed, and I thought you would like to have them for your files."Merrill, Walter M.
