Description

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy spirit. I, undersigned, knowing that nothing is more certain than death, and more uncertain than its time and not wanting to be taken without having put in order my spiritual and material business, I have made, being in perfect health and sound knowledge the current testament. 1. I trust my soul to God, to the Holy Virgin, to St Stephen my patron saint, to all the Saints in paradise, so that, being separated from my body, it will please God to receive it in Heavens. 2. Item - I request that God having freed me from this world, my body be buried in the cemetery, in a closed coffin, letting my executor be in charge of my funeral which I want to be inexpensive, and that having died in my home, my body be put in the carriage and taken to the Church door, where the Clergy will find it, and I wish that four Cadets from the Regiment hold the four corners of the pall and my negroes will (carry) (it to the cemetery), dressed in white shirts, boots, hats ribbons -1-
