Description

Holograph, signedTitle devised by catalogerOliver Johnson forwards to William Lloyd Garrison a document from Mr. May for inclusion in the Liberator. Johnson states that he has spoken with Dr. Cheever, and that it is unlikely that they will be able to secure usage of his church. Johnson summarizes their present options, and requests Garrison's opinion. Johnson advises Garrison that he should consider engaging H.H. Garnett to speak on behalf of the American Anti-Slavery Society, having seen Garnett speak previously at an engagement in honor of Joshua Reed Giddings
