Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.A.E. Woodly writes to William Lloyd Garrison informing him that the "person who called on you yesterday - George Greenage - is about to leave here" with his family "on account of his wife being A slave from Baltimore." Woodly says he knows the family "to be Temprate [sic] Honest good kind of Folks" and he asks if Garrison's "Society would send them on it would be great help to them and really needed."
