May, Negro recruiting officer of the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps, will be in the city Wednesday, Dec. 16, and will speak at the Y.W.C.A. from 2 to 3 o'clock it was announced Saturday. All i women are being urged by the "Y" ! to attend. Never before in United States history have there been such opportunities for alert Negro women, opportunities to help soldiers win the war, and opportunities for advancement, training and experience which will be valuable in the post war world, "Y" officials pointed out. By executive order of the president the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps is authorized to recruit to the full strength of 150,000.
