Letter dated March 2, 1917 from James H. Preston, Mayor of the City of Baltimore, to John Franklin Goucher in which Preston informs Goucher that he has appointed a committee, of which Goucher is to be a member, "to formulate suggestions and plans to bring about improvement in our housing in Baltimore". This is a followup letter to a meeting held February 23, 1917 concerning the "colored housing question". For background, see items gojg364 and gojg365.
