Caption reads: "Lamar Wallis (left), director of the Memphis Public Library and Information Center, accepts the gift of the Elder Blair T. Hunt Papers last night from Dr. Hollis Price and Rheba Hoffman. Mr. Hunt, who was a Memphis educator and civic and religious leader, died at age 90 on July 26, 1978. The presentation of the papers marked the beginning of the library's Black History Month, with the theme, 'Hisstory: Torch for the Future.' The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, Friday, February 2, 1979."
