Recounting her "wonderful experience at Vassar" and the "radically changed" outlook of the Princess Theatre thereafter; describing her recent doings and obligations there, and her adaptation of O'Neill's "Hairy Ape"; discussing progress and contacts made with respect to the prospective "Negro in art" conference; regretting not having seen him during his short stay in New York in August; and mentioning the possibility of receiving a fellowship the following year from the Rosenwald Fund.
