Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Manuscript annotated on recto, with "1858." in pencil along top-right margin of page immediately above letterhead date/address, and "67" in pencil beneath Parker's salutation to Garrison.Theodore Parker informs William Lloyd Garrison that, regrettably, the state of his health compels him to forego all previous obligations to voyage to Framingham to seek "open air" and rest. Parker informs Garrison that in particular his "powers of speech" have been negatively affected.
